ROBERT UNGERLEIDER, of counsel
Robert Ungerleider concentrates in the areas of insurance, real estate (commercial and residential), corporate transactions and commercial litigation. He is an experienced attorney with a long history of representing both large and small clients in small law firms and mid-sized law firms. He was in-house counsel and vice president of National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, PA, and American Home Assurance Company, two property/casualty insurance company subsidiaries of American International Group (AIG). Also, he was real estate counsel at AIG, in-house counsel to a major New York City real estate development company, village attorney for a prominent Long Island community, an insurance arbitrator and a director on the boards of two publicly traded companies.
As an entrepreneur and successful businessman in his own right, Mr. Ungerleider published trade paperback books, operated a national paging service and an equipment leasing company. He also founded and operated Financial Guarantee Underwriting Agency, Inc., an insurance agency specializing in financial guarantee transactions.
